中国儿童中心对外交流中心(简称：对外交流中心)成立于2002年3月，隶属中国儿童中心，是由中央编制委员会批准、经国家事业单位登记管理局注册成立的二级事业法人单位，是我国儿童工作对外交流与合作的重要窗口。
the international exchange and cooperation center of china national children’s center (iecc), established in march 2002, is a tier 2 legal entity approved by the state commission office of public sectors reform and registered by the state administration for public institutions registration. it is an important window of the foreign exchange and cooperation for children in china.
对外交流中心以服务青少年儿童（0-18岁）及其教育工作者的成长和发展、促进中外青少年儿童的交流和友谊、讲好中国故事为宗旨，长期面向中外青少年儿童开展艺术、体育、人文、科技等丰富多彩的交流培训活动，组织中国儿童艺术团、儿童代表作为友好小使者赴俄罗斯、德国、美国、日本等几十个国家和地区交流访问，先后接待各国总统及夫人、妇女儿童代表团、政要人士等数以万计的国际友人，为中外青少年儿童搭建了广阔的交流平台。持续开展内地（大陆）与港澳台青少年儿童书画展、艺术节、夏（冬）令营等活动，共同传承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化。长期与联合国儿童基金会、联合国教科文组织、联合国训练研究所等国际组织保持合作，面向青少年儿童和儿童工作者开展儿童参与、儿童权益保护、营养与健康、青少年多边会议与外交、青少年国际素养等项目培训，宣传联合国可持续发展理念，提升广大儿童工作者国际素养和工作水平，为促进我国儿童事业发展发挥了重要作用。
adhering to the tenet of serving children (0-18 years old) and their educators, promoting exchange and friendship among children from around the world, and telling china’s story well, iecc has launched colorful exchange and training activities in art, sports, humanities, science and technology for chinese and foreign children, arranged for the china children’s art troupe and children’s representatives as goodwill messengers to go to russia, germany, the united states, japan and other countries and regions for exchange visits, and has received tens of thousands of international friends including presidents and their wives, women and children delegations, politicians, etc., thus providing a broad exchange platform for chinese and foreign children. iecc will continue to carry out activities such as calligraphy and painting exhibitions, art festivals, summer (winter) camps for chinese young people to inherit and promote the excellent traditional chinese culture. it has maintained long-term cooperation with international organizations such as the united nations children’s fund, the united nations educational, scientific and cultural organization, the united nations institute for training and research, and provided training programs on youth engagement, children’s rights and interests protection, nutrition and health, youth multilateral conferences and diplomacy, youth global competencies for children and those working for children, to advocate the united nations concept of sustainable development and enhance the global competencies and professional skills of workers for children, thus playing a significant role in promoting children development in china.
2022年，习近平总书记在祝贺中国儿童中心成立40周年的致信中提出，希望中国儿童中心团结广大儿童工作者，做儿童成长的引路人、儿童权益的守护人、儿童未来的筑梦人，为做好儿童对外交流工作指明了方向。对外交流中心围绕“一带一路”倡议、区域合作机制建设，不断加强与各驻华大使馆、国际组织等沟通联系，丰富人文交流内涵，广泛开展儿童国际交流活动，打造了“走进联合国”、“上合未来”、“澜湄童创自然角”、“多样的生命 多彩的世界”、“中外友好纪念”、“儿童友好使者使馆参访团”、“中国儿童艺术团国际合唱团”等高规格、高质量品牌项目。以弘扬中华优秀传统文化为基础，开展“诗画里的中国”、“龙腾华夏”、“我最喜爱的中华传统文化”等活动，举办“中小学校长、幼儿园园长中华传统文化研修班”，吸引了港澳台青少年儿童和教育工作者积极参与，开启了新时代对外交流中心工作新征程。
on the 40th anniversary of the china national children’s center in 2022, president xi jinping sent a letter to extend his wish that the china national children's center should unite with those working for children, to be the guide of children’s growth, the guardian of children’s rights and interests, and the dream-builder of children’s future, which pointed out the direction for children’s international exchange. centering on the belt and road initiative and regional cooperation mechanism, iecc has constantly strengthened communication with embassies in china and international organizations, enriched the connotation of people-to-people exchanges, extensively carried out children’s international exchanges, and initiated high-standard and high-quality flagship projects such as “entering the united nations”, “sco future”, “green lifestyle for children in lancang-mekong countries”, “diverse life and colorful world”, “sino-foreign friendship commemoration”, “visiting delegation of children friendship ambassador”, and “ international choir of china children's art troupe”. based on promoting the excellent traditional chinese culture, iecc has carried out activities such as “china in poetry and painting”, “soaring china”, “my favorite traditional chinese culture”, and has also held "traditional chinese culture workshop for primary and secondary school principals and kindergarten principals", which attracted the active participation of young children and educators from hong kong, macao and taiwan. the work of the international exchange and cooperation center started a new journey in a new era.

as a good ambassador of civilization, iecc should spread chinese culture by cultural exchange and mutual learning and spread the voice of china with global vision. iecc will fully implement the spirit in president xi jinping’s congratulatory letters, carry forward the glorious tradition, serve children and the workers for children with heart and love. iecc will make more contributions in order to enhance the exchange and mutual learning of global civilizations, and to build a community with a shared future for mankind and a better world.
